Norwich Dance Club

A year ago we formed a team to support the Relay for Life event.  We raised on our first year over $1,000 towards the fundraiser with multiple activities.  This year, we decided to hold only one fundraising event to support both the community outreach program of the Norwich Dance Club and our Relay for Life dancing team. 

Raising awareness of ballroom dance and the global influences that brought this beautiful form of art to our society is one of our goals.  Dancing around the world will gather amateur dance performers from the region to narrate the beautiful stories behind these dance styles.  To encourage children to have an early exposure to dance history, our committee extended free admission to all children attending (with an adult companion)  In other words, a mother of 5 will be able to attend, pay only her admitance fee of $7 dollars but all her children under 12 will attend for free.

We have secured the participation of great dancers.  We have a troupe performing flamenco dance representing Spain's finest influence.  From Ireland we have a beautiful performance and a brief story about the culture and special qualities of Irish dancing.  We have an incredible dance show with Middle East oldest style.  Don't miss the beautiful costumes!  We have dance teams performing German Waltz, Paso Doble, Tango, Salsa, Latin and All American dances.

We just began to sell tickets and we welcome helping hands to share with others the information and help us sell tickets to the event.
