Friday Club Events
FREE Cha-Cha Dance
Lessons in February, 2012
FEB 3, 10, 24
Lessons Begin AT 7:00 PM at the Ballroom with open dance time following the lesson. Feel free to bring a dish to pass with treats or desserts and join us. Our members support the Friday Club with a suggested contribution of $5. No need to reserve, just drop by and enjoy a great time.
Ballroom Dance Lessons for Couples
$75.
Per Couple - Small Groups
These are our most popular series. Four weeks takes couples to four basic ballroom lessons. Students learn a four step routine in a very easy and fun manner. Each student received class materials with written routines, practice CD and a weekly email newsletter with short learning videos to support the class lesson. We will learn the basics of the Rumba, Cha-Cha, Waltz and the Swing.
Beginner Ballroom Dance lessons are excellent for people who never danced and need a quick lesson for an upcoming social event. These lessons are also excellent for couples looking to explore activities together. The lessons take students from the very first steps like understanding the right position, learning the first steps and most important, we teach the leaders clues to lead so that couples don't have to follow prescribed routines. This fun program teaches the basics of Rumba, Waltz, Cha-Cha and Swing.

Latin Dance for Individual Dancing

Beginner Class Every Session
This is our Latin Dance exploration program. Each Week we feature a new Latin Dance style and we learn four basic steps. The program goes on year round. It is an excellent way to explore different dance styles and relax after work. Best part...no commitments. Just drop by any time and enjoy a wonderful time dancing with us. Only one requirement...shoes with leather soles are a must, sneakers are not allowed on the dance floor. Other than that, have fun with us.
FRIDAY CLUB AGENDA...
Friday Club
The Friday Club social event begins at 7pm with a free
dance lesson. Practice and dance time follows. Participants bring
treats to share and their own beverage.
$5. Contribution at the door per person covers our facility and
communications cost.
No reservations required. Everyone over 18 years old is welcome.
Monthly Big Band Dances
The Big Band Dances are held every third week of the month with some exceptions. Live music by a 12 piece professional band and refreshments are offered. Dances begin at 7:30pm. Only $15. at the door. No need to reserve unless is a special event. Everyone over 18 years old is welcome.
Latin Beginner Lessons for Individuals
Dance lessons for individual dancing are offered every Wednesday from 6pm to 7:00 pm. We learn from beginner to advanced Latin Dance Steps. This is a drop in class, no need to reserve. Fee is $5. at the door. Each week we explore a new Latin dance. No partners needed for this class, the lessons are for individual dancing. Only one rule... no sneakers or shoes with rubber soles allowed on the dance floor! The rest... is pure fun!
Sunday Couples Series
These dance lessons are for couples. Small group format is perfect for beginners. Check the calendar for the next lesson. These classes are held on Sundays and they help people learn the basic ballroom dance steps. Excellent for wedding dance or to prepare for a special social event. Do you have two left feet? You are perfect for this class. Reservations and advanced payment is required for this program. Call Martha at 607-334-7526 for more details.
